If you would like a designated server for your event, we can make those arrangements for an additional cost. Certain events will require service staff.
We will be happy to order, receive and handle your specific floral and decorative requests for additional fees determined in accordance with your specific needs.
White linens are provided on the buffets, but there are no linens provided at the guest seating tables. Basic white linen held in house is $4.00 per table. A linen with skirt is $6.00 per table. A variety of additional colors and sizes are available for an additional fee.

There is a fee of $75 for after hours events (after 6:00 PM and before 7:30 AM) and $135 per staff person for weekend events.
If you are an Suffolk University internal customer, tax is automatically removed from your event.
For external groups, 6.25% state tax and .75% city tax will apply If you are tax exempt, please provide us with a copy of your tax-exemption certificate to ensure you’re not charged for tax. Your exemption certificate can be faxed to 617.305.6212 or e-mailed to email@example.com.
Suffolk University has a beer/wine only policy. Sodexo supplies all mixers for additional costs. Sodexo will gladly order the liquor for your event. A bill will be sent to the university after your event, based on consumption. A bartender fee of $135 will be included in your invoice. 1 bartender is required for every 100 guests.

Cash Bar Lead Time: Four weeks notice prior to the event is required. Sodexo supplies: Beer & Wine, mixers and setups as well as bartender.
Sodexo must retrieve $150.00 in receipts for the first hour and $50.00 for each additional hour per bar. Client will be charged the difference from sales minimums. Selling prices will be determined by Sodexo. Sodexo will determine how many bartenders will be needed to accommodate your event. Charges for bartenderswill apply if requesting a cash bar and hosted bar.
If you are an internal customer, place your orders online at www.sudining.catertrax.com or you can email your order to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note there is a 25% minimum and late fee for any orders placed less than 24 hours. Final counts are due 48 hours (25 people or less) and 72 hours (26 people and more) prior to the event date.
You are invited to make arrangements directly with the Director of Catering. Final counts and payment in full are due 5 days prior to the event. Please call 617-305-6234.
If you need to accommodate a guest with allergies, would like a customized menu or need to make last minute changes, please contact our catering office. We will try to accommodate any reasonable last minute changes to your menu, but we cannot guarantee these changes due to ordering and delivery restraints from our vendors. We may need to make substitutions at our discretion.
